Gaydar Nation has a mention of Bradley.

This week we’re going back to medieval times and bringing you some right royal totty in the gorgeous form of Bradley James. He plays Arthur before he was king in the BBC series Merlin, sexing up the legend like never before with plenty of rough swordplay and shirtless action.

A Royal Pain
When Bradley first came on board as Arthur, he knew he wouldn’t be making many fans – for his personality, anyway. “No one is going to like him to begin with”, he said. “It’s a long journey for him to make to become the Arthur that is so familiar to us”.

In other words, Bradley’s Arthur is a bit of a right bastard who “tends to use brute force and ignorance to get what he wants”. But boy, does he look good doing it. “I look like I can run fast and swing a sword around with conviction”, he grins.

A Bit of Healthy Swordplay
Arthur and Merlin, played by elfin-like cutie Colin Morgan, had an initially hostile relationship, but as Bradley explains, “Merlin is a catalyst for a change in his behaviour”.

Now, homoerotic undertones are running all through the show’s second series, with lines like, “Arthur keeps them in his private chamber – and the only one allowed in there is Merlin”. Are they really talking about keys here?

And it seems this ‘special friend’ relationship has spilled over into real life. “We get along very well”, says Bradley about Colin. “I suppose that it is a bromance”.
